Adapttech and Alfimed at NITO conference

Adapttech had an amazing opportunity to travel to Norway and help present the innovative INSIGHT Sense technology at the NITO Conference with our new Norweigan distributor, Alfimed. Norway's engineering and technologist organization, known as NITO, is the country's fifth-largest professional organization with over 100,000 members. NITO holds events targeting a range of subjects like bioengineering, construction, health and welfare technology, and the list goes on! These events are a great way to learn about a subject you are interested in. Furthermore, NITO allows you to join a specialist network where members would be able to receive newsletters, different types of resources, and it is a fantastic way to expand your network.

Vanessa Carvalho CPO Presenting NITO

Adapttech's Clinical Specialist Vanessa Carvalho traveled to NITO’s conference organized by the CPO union in Norway, which had around 20 other companies also presenting. With over 300 attendees, a majority of people were interested and engaging in all of the lectures and workshops available. Those who attended were able to find out how INSIGHT Sense uses innovative socket pressure technology to provide a detailed analysis of the patient's biodata, assessing and monitoring the pressure distribution on the residual limb-socket fitting in real-time.

At the end of the workshop presented by Alfimed and Adapttech, the audience stated how difficult it is to show how alignment impacts the pressure inside the prosthetic socket and was intrigued to find out how INSIGHT Sense can solve this problem using its innovative technology.

Traveling to Norway was a great chance to help Alfimed present our technology. As stated on the Alfimed website, this company offers a wide range of products that are delivered to the right place, at the right time. Adapttech is extremely excited to be working with our new Norweigan distributor!
