From a company rebranding to a new product launch, this year has been proof of the hard work and commitment of the entire Adapttech team. It’s worth noting that 2023 marked the 8th anniversary of Adapttech, a milestone that fills us with pride as we look back on the remarkable growth and accomplishments since our beginning.

In this blog post, we invite you to join us on a retrospective journey, revisiting the highlights and achievements that have shaped our remarkable year. Join us on this retrospective!

Company Rebranding and New Website

Celebrating our 8th anniversary, Adapttech has embarked on an exciting new chapter marked by a significant rebranding effort and the unveiling of our freshly redesigned website! This transformation was more than a visual update; it reflected our evolving mission, values, and unwavering dedication to our audience. The new website, thoughtfully tailored for the O&P field, is a user-friendly hub to explore our company and products and seamlessly connect with us. As we step into this new era, our focus intensifies on pioneering product development aimed at advancing patient mobility through the power of quantitative data and functional outcomes.

Events

At the beginning of the year, Adapttech made a powerful impact at the AAOP Annual Meeting in Nashville, a gathering of orthotics and prosthetics leaders. We proudly showcased our latest innovations and unveiled the refreshed company branding. This year, we took the stage with two significant sessions. Vanessa Carvalho, our Clinical Specialist, presented on improving prosthetic comfort, while CEO Frederico Carpinteiro introduced Motio Functional Reports, a groundbreaking product revolutionizing prosthetic care through remote monitoring and insightful reports. The AAOP experience was an important moment, reinforcing Adapttech's commitment to shaping the future of prosthetics.

Later in the year, in September, Adapttech marked its presence at the AOPA National Assembly 2023 in Indianapolis, making a huge impact in the orthotics and prosthetics industry. It was great to meet everyone who visited our booth and participated in the engaging sessions, including the Manufacturer's Workshop, Free Paper Presentation, Digital O&P Care Program Presentation, and the Product Preview Theatre, where we unveiled our upcoming product—the Motio Vacuum Pump, a microprocessor-controlled vacuum suspension system that seamlessly integrates with lower limb prosthetic devices. Special appreciation goes to NuTech Synergies for their collaborative support, making this event a significant success.

In a culmination of our commitment to knowledge sharing and innovation, Adapttech hosted the Data-Driven Prosthetic Care Webinar later in the year. This virtual gathering served as a platform to delve into the revolutionary Motio Functional Reports, offering insights into real-world patient data, comprehensive reports, and the digitization of functional outcomes. The webinar showcased our dedication to advancing prosthetic care through data and provided a space for interactive discussions and engagement with clinicians and O&P professionals. Products

In 2023, Adapttech took bold strides in product innovation, introducing groundbreaking solutions that redefined the landscape of prosthetic care. The highlight of the year was the official launch of the Motio Functional Reports - an innovative service designed to provide deep insights into patient outcomes. This service empowers clinicians with real-world data, comprehensive reports, and invaluable information to enhance decision-making in prosthetic rehabilitation.

Continuing on the path of innovation, Adapttech unveiled the development of the Motio Vacuum Pump—a microprocessor-controlled vacuum suspension system that seamlessly integrates with lower limb prosthetic devices. Engineered for enhanced comfort, improved circulation, and optimal support, the Motio Vacuum Pump reflects our commitment to advancing the physical connection between users and their prosthetic devices. Stay tuned for next year's updates on this product!

In addition to all this news, Adapttech proudly announced the launch of its first online store! This milestone not only signifies our digital evolution but also provides a convenient platform for prosthetic professionals and users to access our innovative products with ease. US O&P professionals can now order their Motio Functional Reports in a few clicks!

As we celebrate these launches, we look forward to the transformative impact these products will have on the field of prosthetics, empowering users and clinicians alike with cutting-edge solutions and data-driven insights.

Partnerships

At Adapttech, collaboration is always part of our mission to enhance prosthetic care. In 2023, we forged impactful partnerships that amplify our reach and contribute to the evolution of the O&P industry.

A notable collaboration with NuTech Synergies brought together innovative minds and cutting-edge technologies, which marked our year positively. Sharing a booth at the AOPA National Assembly 2023, Adapttech, alongside esteemed technology partners Amparo, Nabtesco, and 2DP, showcased groundbreaking solutions shaping the future of prosthetics.

On the product development and refinement side, our network of beta testers, spanning clinics in Portugal, Spain, and the USA, played a crucial role. Their valuable feedback and firsthand experiences contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering solutions that meet the diverse needs of prosthetic users and clinicians. We would like to thank all our partners for their trust in our company and team.

As we approach the year's end, we extend our gratitude to our readers who have accompanied us on this journey, to those who visited our booths at trade fairs, and to all participants in our events. Your presence enriches our community, making our journey truly meaningful. We are committed to bringing you more valuable content in the field of O&P in the coming year. See you there!
