Adapttech Birthday - 7 years and counting

Adapttech celebrated its 7th birthday on the 22nd of February and, after two years apart due to COVID-19, we finally got the team together! Our colleagues were finally able to safely fly from France and the UK to join us in Portugal - all at the same time!  

This anniversary was particularly important for the team because this is a year of transformation and many achievements for Adapttech. And also a lot of work. We recognise that moments of enjoyment amongst the team are also extremely important to make everything run smoothly. 

Furthermore, it was also an important opportunity to thank and recognize the work of everyone who is part of this family - from those who have been with us since the beginning to the most recent members. And what a better way to celebrate such a thing than a team-building activity?  

This day started in Parque da Cidade (Porto, Portugal), meeting in the morning and kicking things off with a stereotype-challenging exercise. Divided into teams to increase the competitive spirit, by the end of the exercise we got to know some curiosities about each other and strengthen personal bonds while having so much fun doing it. 

The clock strikes noon, the sun is high and excitement is pumping. Time to eat? Of course, but not the way we thought we would. Another challenge is set: team cooking! The final 3-course meal was prepared by our Adapttech teams with attention to detail, rich flavour and a jolly state-of-mind. 

It was a delightful day, with the help of Team Building. Thank you to everyone who attended this activity and to our HR department for organizing such a nice set of activities.
