Adapttech is thrilled to be one of this year’s winners of the Good Design® Awards competing in the medical category! This prestigious award recognized the remarkable design of the INSIGHT Pro, which is an ensemble of all Adapttech’s products.

It has been an eventful year for Adapttech, and there are many accomplishments to celebrate! On the 6th of December, Adapttech presented the results of the project “ADAPT – The new generation of Smart Fitting Prosthetic Solutions” at Porto Palácio Congress Hotel & Spa, in Porto, Portugal. This project looked at the INSIGHT range of products of Adapttech: the INSIGHT Digitizer, INSIGHT Sense, and INSIGHT Pro.

Adapttech is extremely proud to announce that it was the gold winner of the Rehabilitation and Assistive-Technology Products category of the #MDEA 2022, which recognises the features and design of our INSIGHT products.

Our CEO, Frederico Carpinteiro, joined Gustavo Serafini, host of the Enabled Disabled podcast, to talk about Adapttech’s mission to improve the quality of life of people with physical limitations.

Gustavo created this podcast to shift the narrative around disability and felt excited talking about our INSIGHT products with Frederico and their impact on amputees' life, as well as about the entrepreneurial day-to-day of the company.

The development team has worked over the last few months to revamp the traditional INSIGHT System, adding new features to all its components. These changes have led to the creation of two distinct standalone products which can also be bought together in a professional package where the user will benefit from all its functionalities.

Adapttech celebrated its 7th birthday on the 22nd of February and, after two years apart due to COVID-19, we finally got the team together! Our colleagues were finally able to safely fly from France and the UK to join us in Portugal - all at the same time!

Our year at Adapttech has started with the following message “Congratulations! Your hard work has paid off and you have earned your Seal of Compliance™” by Compliancy Group, with the great news that we can now say that we are HIPAA compliant.
